The Business for Africa-network exists to establish God’s Kingdom in Africa through strong and loving relationships uplifting Africa to be a leading and prosperous continent. In the process of establishing these relationships between strategic leaders, business people, development orientated believers, Kingdom-minded Christians, and just loving and caring people, we desire to bring change to the beautiful people of Africa and to the land itself.

This results in community development projects, networks with local churches, businesses, and governments all over Africa and think tanks to discover God’s purposes and commissioning on each project.

The Network itself includes opportunities for outreaches, seminars, Christian Business training, networking, Christian Economic Empowerment and Christian Business thinking. The end purpose of these equipping sessions is to initiate projects facilitating a convergence of gifts and resources brought in by the different members of the network.

There is an annual fee of R3500- payable to belong to the network, which covers the various seminar fees, training, accommodation, material, facilitation, and other costs. Current Network leaders are John Jones, Benjie du Preez, Michelle Harding and Segun Olanipekun. There are five “connecting” weekends during a year (apart from weekends on particular projects i.e Zambesi Junction Project at the Mutemwa Lodge, Zambia).

In the first year, 2010, this included: African Business and Leaders Summit- Change and Transformation (Feb) The Meaning of Life and Business-Biblical Worldview Seminar (March)Christian Economic Empowerment Weekend (May) Human Relationships in Business (Sept.) Christian Management Principles (Oct.) Presented by GLE Africa Christian MBA group. Business and the Prophetic and preparation for 2011(Nov) As the network focuses on brining change in Africa, we also encourage Network participant to attend the annual New Wine Conference, presented by the Institute for Christian Leadership Development. Membership is inclusive (open) but upon invitation of an existing Network-member.
