PROJECTS AND MANAGEMENT

The projects may vary from time to time, but is mostly focused on assistance provided to black people in rural areas and to people in town-ships. The management of projects is overseen by John Jones, a qualified Attorney of the High Court and transformation manager to a large commercial enterprise. He also holds trus teeship and directorship in other charity organizations and was employed until 2005 by ABSA Trust as a wealth structuring consultant tasked with broad-based BEE matters. He will be in charge of appointing and constituting the different teams to look after the following categories of practical upliftment and community development:

  1. Building relationship and providing direction and strategy
  2. Analyses and research of needs
  3. Project-planning and execution
  4. Assessment of project and formal feed-back in terms of Codes of Good Practice.

The Financial Manager to all projects is Etienne Cilliers, who is currently also contracted by the Institute of Public Finance and Auditing as a Financial Manager.

Independently and in association with other ministries or companies Bambanani is involved in the following Townships and Rural-areas: Atteridgeville (African Angel-project), Botleng (through Top-Up-Project) and Shoshanguve (The Leadership Program®). John Jones has also overseen work in Kliptown, Soweto and Eersterus in Pretoria.

The project management of Bambanani consists of a team of volunteers constituted from willing students, to professionals laying aside time and expertise to assist in the project. A project may also be tailor-made for your organization and specific areas of concern.

We acknowledge that socio-economic development must be sustainable and therefore also connect various projects with skills-training (with emphasis upon entrepreneurship), funding for skills training, community development, sanitation, vegetable garden management and AIDS programmes, to name but a few.

Therefore Bambanani relates strongly with the work of the Leadership Programme®.
