The Leadership ProgrammeThe Leadership Programme’s vision is to reconcile and develop people through training. We are seeing the signs in every sector of society that there’s an existing need for implementation of values-based Leadership. It is especially relevant in Africa today where there may be differences in approach, perspective, philosophy and styles of Leadership. Furthermore, we acknowledge a leadership-ethos that is true to Africa and which must be birthed in this generation to produce fruit in leaders that will enable and equip them to address the issues prevalent to our day.
The need for reconciliation and development is great and will only be increasing in days ahead as the gap between the rich and poor in Africa ever broadens. This may be due to a number of reasons, but the focus of the Leadership Programme is to endeavor bridging this gap through training and equipping in different disciplines, industries and geographical-areas, to ensure that empowering skills coupled with sustainable- and values-based Leadership, may fill an existing vacuum. | |
Impact: Reconciliation and Development: This diverse impact provides the Leadership Programme with a competitive edge in reaching for development of individuals and organizations, as well as reconciliation of races, cultures, ages and socio-economic position. This is primarily facilitated through training in the following disciplines: Values-based Leadership, Contextual Leadership and Leadership Profiling. However, specific outlines and parameters, reflected by creative curricula, may be designed in order to fulfill the requirements of the particular organization. This is done through consultation and the subsequent formal lay-out of the applicable programme to be implemented. In order to further the impact from merely making an internal or organizational difference, career development and community involvement is envisioned. Further to internal/ organizational development, the community involvement is structured through networking volunteer-candidates of certain programmes with less privileged communities and lowly-skilled persons. A volunteer base is created to ensure that mentorship, community work and training may be sustainable but intense, personal and professional, well researched and properly presented, in terms of subject-content and the application thereof. This, we believe may open up a blessed new-world of opportunities for the less-privileged and under-skilled, through the increase and development of skills, but also through lasting mentorship and opportunity.
