The Structure (strategy and profile):

The structure of the Leadership Programme allows it to be dynamic in its approach in a two-fold way. Firstly, the Leadership Programme desires to make a strategic impact in Africa by establishing lasting mentorships and aligning courses with the specific need of the area, industry or discipline in order that teaching and training may bring forth optimum results in a specific landscape. Courses are therefore designed to meet different audiences with the end in mind to develop people and reconcile different economic, racial and social groups through the common ground of the skill being taught or the context wherein it will be exercised. Secondly, the corporate-profile of the Leadership Programme allows it to be flexible to adapt to the demands of the organization or community being serviced through teaching and training, and utilize every means possible to ensure a unified value-add through co-operation, grants, private investment (in South Africa supported through the Black Economic Empowerment Codes of Good Practice), tax-structures, and the like.

The Training-facilitators will differ from time to time, but each programme is overseen and developed through the Leadership Programme-Management consisting of Andre van Eeden (industrial engineer) leading the business-component, Henk Kleinschmidt (project manager) overseeing youth and student-development, John Jones (transformation consultant) as general manager, and Etienne Cilliers (accountant) responsible for overseeing the finances and accounting.

Kofi Annan, the previous general secretary of the United Nations a while back declared that the greatest challenge to face Africa is one of leadership.  The greatest crisis in Africa is not one of poverty, disease or corruption – it that of leadership. The Leadership Programme under the excellent leading of John Jones addresses this central issue in the on-going development renaissance of the African continent. May this program go from strength to strength.” Dr Cornelius Bekker-Associate Professor: Regent University School of Global Leadership and Entrepreneurship
